PSYCHOBOTANICAL - Matt's Gallery, June 2019
My exhibition at Matt's Gallery consisted of a kinetic silicon 'rubber plant' sculpture surrounded by three schematic 'psycho-social' gloss and enamel paintings. Two screen prints, political emblems, were hung in the corridor, and a 'social body mind map' risograph print hung in the reading area. An essay 'Dean Kenning's Kinetics' was written by John Roberts to accompany the exhibition (see link at bottom of page).
The sculpture Untutiled (Rubber Plant) was produced with funds from an ACE Developing Your Creative Practice grant.
